Absolutely love this game, only one issue I end up having.

I understand that the principal confrontation thing is to add some sort of stakes to the game, but they kinda specifically feel out of place and weird if you are doing the magic/occult club route?

Like, I was told (in game) less than a week prior that I shouldn't push magic too much or I could do serious damage to my own brain. I've also shown the ability to press said magic/mana into objects/into myself. Also everything shown thus far is that we are playing as some manner of magic wunderkind who is kinda waaaay too good at this on average compared to most beginners.

Also, in this world, the vast vast majority of the population know nothing of magic, and when we told the other magical practitioners we know that another mage has placed a "curse" on us they don't exactly react as if thats some manner of like "taboo" within their sub-culture.

So when a man in a position of authority decides to barely conceal a real threat unto my, and by extension my family's, person(s)......... I mean realistically couldn't we just give the man a stroke, have it chalked up to stress, and idk maybe aurora is mad but thats about it?

And nobody give me that whole "Violence is bad" stuff, the man is basically threatening to pull us out of school and ruin our chances at a solid college/future job opportunities. In the implied setting (seems to be following some interesting mix between modern day South Korea and the West Coast of the United States) that sorta threat lands squarely somewhere between "Poverty Forever" and "Death Threat", so alls fair at that point.

Idk I could at least use some sort of in world explination as to why using Magic isn't a possible solution to the problem that is the principal. And that includes even non-violent magical means. I mean hell, charms, illusions, any number of magical abilities already mentioned in the game up until that point seem more than adequate solutions to the issue.

What about we use a non magical solution to the problem that is the principal. The plague is concerningly cheap.

I mean in my opinion the principal is the villain being alluded to in the magic route. Like there's someone doing evil magic in the school. Ethan's transformation is likely obviously magic to this person, considering Aurora recognized it as magic immediately. The principal seemingly randomly decides to have beef with Ethan and being out to get them, and while that could be chalked up to "the principal just is that bigoted", I think it would make sense for it to also be motivated by "this person is clearly using magic, I don't want them snooping".
