Had a lot of fun with this one! The instructions were a bit hard to find as the controls were hidden in the credits menu of all places! and some controls weren't in the written documentation on the games page. But I was glad to discover E for the projectiles path and click to shoot. Discovering wall jump by accident saved me as well!

There are a lot of leaps of faith which normally in a platformer would be a bit of a downside but it actually leans in on the theme quite well in this case! I had to jump into the abyss and sometimes it seemed there was a platform and sometimes not which made me laugh.

Thank you for your review of the game. Since I discovered a minor issue with the player camera—if it's too far away, the game becomes poor, and if it's too close, it becomes difficult to play—I thought of adding a feature where, when a button is pressed below, the camera moves slightly downwards to show the ground beneath the player before jumping.

It was cool to rush through the level with speed!

The first stage is rather long, but it's good. Thanks for your review of the game.

It struck me as odd, both that the game starts with an enemy right where you spawn and also that the shooting wasn't used for anything else besides the occasional enemy on a flat surface. Level design wise I think this game suffers from having the camera too zoomed in, and having the camera be baseline in the center when you're pretty much always moving right. It makes it so you can't fairly do anything with platforming besides full jumps to the end because you wouldn't be able to see subversions before they happen. Visually the assets are also very not cohesive with each other, which is unfortunate because in a vacuum they all look pretty good! Invisible barrier at the start also felt weird since you have wall sprites that work but that's a nitpick overall. Cool entry!

Thanks for the comment. I did notice initially that the player's camera was somewhat close, but when I moved it away, I noticed the game became smaller. Therefore, clicking the down arrow button will move the camera slightly downwards so you can see the floor below.

Nice twist on your undertaking of the theme, good idea, the artstyle could have deserved to be a bit more coherent overall.
