Ah, I didn't see this until now, this looks pretty crazy! I'll take a look at seeing how things are going with the speech files, it's been a long road so some of my memories are fuzzy but funnily enough I think that the tool was made for .13 and not .13a and there was some issues when it was posted for .13a. It just didn't get updated because most of the mod creators did the upgrade in .13. But let me actually investigate first before I say for sure the issue, it could also just be that you need to redo the sprite pivots.
Worst case I'll pass the speech files/class.txt pivots through the older version I think I have saved and then send them to you somehow.
As for the Patreon version, while I can't speak on behalf of the opinions of others, they might have been referring to the beta versions that were sent out to start getting the bug testing going, which in the past couple weeks have had most of the bugs torn up by the local Oguri Cap fan hmal and subsequently had a bunch of updates put out.
I don't fault you for how you choose to spend your money though, do whatever you think is right for your wallet but we'd certainly welcome you in the server with all these cool characters you've made.
