Hey! I'm Metralleto, i'm an Artist and Writer of sorts. I'm building a Platformer Roguelike in Gamemaker named Chromatopsis. I'm looking for a programmer that could help put this project together! I plan on selling this game on Steam and am totally open to RevShare whenever it launches. While it would be an understatement to say i'm not the best at coding myself... I have basic understanding on the platform and can slightly grasp how systems should work.

I have also built a small prototype of sorts that should slightly give an idea of what the game's art direction should be. I've got a good amount of concepts and ideas for mechanics and story, too! While this won't be a rhythm game, it WILL have rhythm based elements. Think about the background pulsating to the music, for example. But yeah, that's about it. if you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!

Status: Still looking for someone as of september 2026.

(white objects and tiles are meant to have a color shifting shader that swaps white for saturated colors)

I came across your post about Chromatopsis, and I’m genuinely interested in working on it with you. The platformer/roguelike foundation combined with rhythm-based elements gives the project a lot of room for interesting gameplay systems.

I’m a game developer focused on game design, gameplay mechanics, systems, and development, and I can help take your concepts and prototype further into a structured, playable game. I’d be interested in taking responsibility for the development side while you focus on the art, writing, and creative direction you already have established.

Since you’re aiming for a Steam release, I’d also be interested in treating this as a serious long-term collaboration rather than just a small prototype. I’m open to the RevShare structure and would like to discuss the scope, current prototype, development responsibilities, and what we can realistically build together.

If you’re still looking for someone to take on the development side, send me the prototype and your current design ideas. I’d be happy to go through them and discuss how I can help turn Chromatopsis into a complete game.
