Indirect Artillery

All artillery as far as my military training goes is indirect. But does that need to be expressed directly in the game itself? Do I need to hit do a hop, as a player, before it reaches the target? Or is worms/gunbound a good reference as a whole. If not any "kind of weapon/vehicle" in those games serves as a good example?

Thanks for the challenge sir!I'm new to the jams but this is the type of game I really love.

The idea is that the main projectile fired by the user should have a parabolic or non-linear trajectory. That is, it achieves it's aim point indirectly, not directly. What effects happen after that are up to you.
