Please cheack the project page, I'm running out of time Aah!
Oki Doki, I came back again to yap a bit about these three [not so] lovely tracks and correct some typos.
I wanted my Soundtrack to be a bit raw [which didn't came out as good as I wanted :<] and a lot more melodic than my last submission two years ago. I simply tried to compose something while having a minimal music theory knowledge this time - lol. I warmed myself up for more pianos and dynamic chords progression [that are actually in key for ones XD] while having quite a good time doing so. Unfortunetly I couldn't finish two songs I made demos of, one of which was purely based on piano melody I adore
So when it comes to my DAW, I finally got a proper version of Fl Studio in which I can actually save my projects, Yippe [Altho I won't forgive you Fl Studio for not saving my presets for free trail plugins and having only 8 audio clips for each project >:( ]. I still like Reaper for Mixing but this time I didn't really use it
I used mostly my fav VST's and synth that are shown on the screenshots. Y'know some Synth1, TAL-Elek7ro , Stock ones like Poizone , Sawer

Drums are from LABS and bealive it or not Midi Library. I wanted to warm myself up for some new drum kits and they were under my nose the whole time. You can call them lame but personally I find them pretty neat
Vocal clips are of me and my friends having a grill on the Sunday this summer. I recorded it on a digital camera I bought a while ago and filtred it to oblivion
Also, all of my other plugins are free, I'm still broke and nothing changed since 6th jam lol
Also, also - I spread my stock plugins propaganda. Please don't shy away from them, they're underrated as hell girl

Black Sheeps Wool [Dying Heir]
My main inspiration for the world described and the bizzare nature of it was OFF and ENAs Dream BBQ, and BSW refects that to some degree I hope
It's a song that plays throughout most of the overworld and on the balconies, but the last slowed down section at the end is played irregulary as a element of surprise for the player
Funfact: This song is in a minor
Blender's Scale
I think it's obvious that this track is a battle theme so I don't need to say it outloud. The triangle chiptune bass was inspired by Bondage Faires. What's up with the title?
Funfact: My friend played me the scale in which I needed to keep the song in. Her nickname is Blender. It's literally her scale. Her laugh is also included in the song, with "Eehh" of my other friend that adores both OFF and Bondage Fairies :3
Yard for Lunatics // {What now?}
Wanted to do some piano heavy track, because of Nero's Day at Disneyland. The first 1:23 minutes of the song loops itself in some areas of the Clinic, but after that mark the whole rest of the song plays at the final scene of the game
Funfact: I forgot in what key is this song.
The title is a reference to one of my fav Francisco Goyas painting

Suuuper abstract. Felt myself picking out parts and wanting more to follow those parts, but it did keep me feeling that sense of mystery and unease along the lines of the OFF OST so I can definitely feel the influences.
I feel like I could've gotten properly hypnotically lost in Black Sheeps Wool without the percussion (I dig the percussion too though, to be clear!) - This one was my favourite
Really like the sample use too - that's a barbecue? it sounds so eerie in this context.
The variety in audio manipulation, such as with the drums, the static, the synthesizers, and the tempo shifts, kept my ear interested in terms of wanting to keep listening! I think if you can take a few of these elements and build motivic ideas out of them, it would make these tracks sound more cohesive (not sure if you wanted to go full abstract, but it felt a bit too much like that). Additionally, some of the mixing could use work, like with the sharpness of the synthesizers and the muddiness of the drums. But I see a lot of creative elements that you can definitely hone in on more. Good job!
I should definitely sit and polish these tracks later on.

Black Sheeps Wool: this is a cool opening track, and actually has a lot of harmonic depth to it! There’s lots of charm and character in the muddy, reedy synths. I think the drums are the only thing that take me out of it. They’re a bit too overactive, and don’t fit the bizarre soundscape we’re in. I like the slowdown at the end a lot too.
Blender’s Scale: goodbye, tonal harmony. Again, I find the percussion to be quite grating against the otherwise-gentle synths, but I really love this oozing, freakish harmonic language! Super unique stuff. Sounds like there was some pretty awesome electric guitar going on—wish we got some more of that.
Yard With Lunatics: you’ve got a knack for working with synths! Pretty impressive stuff going on here, and it’s clear that you have a real intuition when it comes to harmony. This one does get a little repetitive at times, but I admire that each repetition uses different instruments and other slight variations to keep things more interesting. Plenty of soundtracks will loop the same 8 bars forever with very little change. The slow distortion at the end is epic. Really, really cool!!!
Overall, I think you should be proud of yourself. There’s plenty of fresh and exciting music here, both harmonically and through the very cool synths you’ve used—plus lots of fun, blink-and-you-miss-it details. It isn’t perfect—nothing is! Who are you comparing yourself to? Just hit the ground running next time and remember that it’s all for fun and experience, not for glory. Well done, and keep writing!
I grew up listening to A LOT of Caravan Palace, and these guys are masters at organised chaos and harmony - for me at least. Thier first two albums are like, SO underrated when it comes to composition and I strive to achieve this level of compexity in my music [That is also well mixed]. Altho, only recently I actually put to use my ears and tried composing melodies with more depth than relying on percussion to do it for me. I've fallen in love with 7th Chords
When it comes to YWL, I wanted this one to drag for a bit, indeed. Left the listener to wonder how Basia ended up at the end

Great work, a unique take on the theme! To be honest it's a bit experimental for me but I can appreciate the detail you've put into each track, and I really like some of the sounds you've included. My favourite track is BlackSheepsWool_DyingHeir, the synths are great and as I listen to it I can picture your game idea. I love the vocal samples too!
It would be a shame if my game idea all about uniqueness wasn't so unique afterall. Hihi
And I also adore the quality of my camera :) So much lofi potential...
My only issue with the tracks are the improper mixing, otherwise i find this really enjoyable.
AHH this darn mixing. I must admit - when I came back to school last week I should've use my free time more responsibly and try listening to these songs a bit more. Everything was last minute this year and I hate it
