I played for half an hour, I was left dissatisfied, I wasn't able to learn how to fight properly and have fun in combat

first combat I won without me doing anything, I was just mostly pressing W trying to figure out the keys. Second combat i flied up and got insta deleted. Third combat I tried to use the terrain to hide from incoming shots but died anyways. Fourth combat I rushed forward again and got deleted.

In neither of the fights I felt like I did anything at all, are my shots hitting? dealing damage? am I aiming properly? There's a lot of questions related to combat feedback left unanswered.

About the UI related to the preparation before a fight, I got extremely overwhelmed by the amount of things there are, I suggest drip feeding them with some progression system, I had no idea what most items, crew statistics, shapes, colors, tanks and mechas are

This has potential and I can see it being very fun, in a Warthunder tanks type way. I'm not sure about the need for all that management stuff and the barracks, and hangar I don't know what any of that was. Nor did I understand the salvage thing at the end of the game, or why some of the mechs were unavailable after the first mission (they died?)

need a bit more feedback for whether or not the weapon you fired did anything, I can't tell if I'm hitting terrain or the target. Also am I supposed to be locking on somehow to fire some of these weapons? 3 and 4 seemed to just do their own thing, and the laser didn't seem to ever actually go where I was trying to point.

This could be due to the UI. I don't know what any of this in the middle of the screen is supposed to mean.

But yeah it's still got potential and with a tutorial I'm sure it'll be very cool.

All the text and options right at the beginning was a bit overwhelming. I might not be the best person to review this game, because I don't really play a whole lot of games like this. For what it's worth, I'm on an AMD GPU and the trees and grass looked just fine.

There's a chance the foliage/trees are broken on AMD due to some compute shader weirdness, I don't got a AMD GPU lying around to test with so let me know if trees/grass are broken if you have AMD gpu.
