I think the approach for the visuals were very interesting! I liked checking in on the book and seeing the new updates as the game progressed, I think it really helped sell the atmosphere. I think I would have liked it if were a bit clearer when Gerome was talking and when it was narration, but it was pretty easy to tell from context still - just a bit of mental delay when reading. Was caught a bit off guard by the animation, it was really nice to see! I think I may be a bit unclear on the ending though - I have my ideas, so hopefully I'm understanding things correctly.

It’s nice to encounter a visual novel in the jam! It captures the dark atmosphere of war really well, and I loved the art style. Nice job!

There seems to be a bug when opening the notebook, it says "Couldn't find file 'sketchbook_bg.png'."

Wow, that’s… dark.

Excellent artwork. Much more of a story book than a game. Well done on the entry.

The moody aesthetic and atmosphere felt cohesive. The artwork was amazing. I'd describe the story as original and a good concept. There were quite a bit of grammatical errors though. Keep up the writing!

I don't know if this ending was ment to be like this or not, but it feels abrupt sadly. I really enjoyed story and the artstyle, but it seems there could be more to it
