Description
This is an orchestral soundtrack for the fictional game Veil of Artemisia. There's only two tracks, but both feature Myral's Theme.
The Veil of Artemisia is an adventure role-playing game. Players take the role of Jakesh, a detective and explorer tasked with investigating the disappearance of the harpies.

2. "A Night Under the Canopy" - music that plays when characters sleep for the night
[Micro Lore]
"The harpies brought Myral to the center of the world where they hoped the last saint could save her. When they awoke on the third day, she was gone. Where she laid now stood a colossal tree. And all around them was a great forest where none had been. Its leaves sang her songs, its branches dreamt her dreams."
[How I composed the music]
I used an Akai MPK Mini keyboard and MuseScore Studio 4 to draft out two scores. Then I used Cubase Elements and Native Instruments (Kontakt Player 8) for instrumentation, orchestrification, adding reverb, and mixing.

Theme
How does it fit the theme?
Artemisia's history involves harpies and a girl named Myral who they tried to save. I imagine the right-most character in the picture theme to be Myral. Artemisia is also surrounded by the Veil which causes memory loss when passing through. So anyone leaving Artemisia forgets about their homeland.

I would inhale this, no joke. so rich with emotion. if I played this game I'd stay in the forest just to hear its theme on loop. I hope to one day layer melodies like you. Beautifully done
I like where you're going with this! The tracks themselves are lovely and fit well within the lore you provided. I really liked the main melody so I was happy to hear it in both tracks. Good stuff!
I could see these tracks featured in a JRPG (a good one ;-)). My favourite part was near the end of "A Night Under the Canopy" as you started switching it up for the outro, I wish that part was a little longer :')

oooh, this is a really cool submission! i really like your composition style, particularly in your chord progressions. very thoughtfully done. i can absolutely picture the scene you have set based off of your writing. well done, especially having had to learn a new DAW for this jam!
I love the vibe of this project! Very artistically strong songs, and I easily get good idea of the world you're going for. I honestly have no gripes with the songs, I just wish there were more. I am enjoying listening to them on repeat right now!! From the lore, to the music, I think everything fits together beautifully. Great work!
