Simple and effective.
First track is perfect to be watching the sunset on the top of a mountain on a 16 bit fantasy world.
Second track is perfect for travel back to the tavern after the sun is down.
I would include a bit of ear candy on both tracks, and try to work on the mix of the percussion to have it sound more natural.
