Pros:

  • Very fun and goofy, enjoyed the plot a lot
  • Good difficulty curve in my opinion
  • Enjoyable art in cutscenes

Cons:

  • Lacks polish in the levels and the two levels seem a little unconnected/random, perhaps if you end up making more levels it will become more coherent
  • Audio was missed =[ but of course game jams don’t give lots of time; perhaps try using public assets or something!
  • More cutscenes than gameplay; while the cutscenes were very good, the gameplay lacked development! Don’t skimp on polishing/planning/developing game mechanics just for cutscenes (our team did the same a while back lmao)
  • Develop the connection to trust no one a bit more, I didn’t fully understand where the theme was incorporated except for the first cutscene in my opinion

While the gameplay was quite incoherent and “rough around the edges” so to speak, it was rather enjoyable and would love to see this developed further!

Surprisingly enjoyable for how short the game is, i'd love if you guys continue making this game, it would be pretty fun
