Description
The songs are fully instrumental, enviromental, experimental thing, I wouldn't know how to tag it exactly.
I used as an inspiration the art made from an good friend of mine, is it a very psicodelical, kind of creepy concept but I felt it like an distorted dream that will go from a very calm ambience to a chase situation in seconds . I imagined this game as a 2D platformer, stealth, strategy game, very similar to Rain World or Planet of Lana.
Used FL Studio to compose everything
1st Song [L0st W0rld]
I imagined Lost world as an introduction of this onirical place. It can work as a Main theme or start theme
Where all you can see is this little colorful rabbits in a enormous field
For this song I used as a inspiration Maid in Abyss and Abzu soundtracks. With some kind of Asian culture's intrument because for me it helps to bring this Beyond this world/supernaturally vibe to the ambience. User mainly Musio instruments for this.
2nd song Run Little Rabbit
This one is for the tense part, where everything becomes menacing, this enormous hands come out of nowhere to catch the Rabbits that are around you and then you, It becomes quickly ina chase/ Stealth scenario, where you need to RUN and hide from this creepy entities.
For this one I took inspiration from Control and A Plague Tale soundtracks since this two are to me the ones that represent this concept perfectly fine. For this one I used mostly Musio's Library too and Kontakt Electric Storm guitar
It was a very interesting concept and I wanted to do more songs for this but it was a very busy week, anyway hope you like it as much as I did composing it!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
I though of a Forgotten World,'s concept as a psicodelical way and more like a Liminal space. Thinking of each mind as a whole world if we abandon some parts of ourselves those parts would go to a place like this. The protagonist somehow got stuck on their own dreams and entered this weird world. Now they need to find how to get out

I actually like that your chase song is more lowkey. Gives the sense that it's more of a steath chase rather than a true chase. Even though you have to run, its like running to hiding spots and not directly away from an enemy to me. Perhaps it could still have a bit more energy, but it's still good.
Run Little Rabbit sounds very cinematic, great quality, builds tension well, although the tension feels too steady for a "chase" scenario but fits the stealth scenario nicely. Lost World has an interesting play with the empty space between sounds, reminds me of the Japanese Gagaku.

are the cello and other strings recorded or just some amazing programing ?
The cello on the second track is fantastic! That and the drums. The whole track makes me feel like they are going to catch me for that thing I did. Whom? I dont know... For what? I dont remember, but I cannot stop to think about it.
For this submittion I was practicing a lot with modulation to try to improve the quality of the sound of the Libraries I normally use, so if you have any advices for that, I will appreciate it a lot
