Description
A singular instrumental track made with Ableton based on the very first impression I got by reading the theme. It attempts to "narrate" a story.

Message from the artist
It has a complete opposite feeling to the picture theme as it is a rather dark piece in general.

Theme

Songs of a Forgotten World

How does it fit the theme?
Starting with a ruins-vibe grim opening, the track tells a story as it immerses through multiple stages of the world - Pioneering, Prosperity, Demise. Between each stage, the music abruptly brings back to the ruins to reinforce the idea that the world is long past the phase, with added instruments to mimick the subject finding clues/artifact that remind and signal the next phase.

Ooh that tritone near the start was extra crunchy.

The frequent shifts of tone and instrumentation is great for storytelling in such a short entry. I do wish that some of them had been expanded to full songs to further explore their ideas.

I think the really high string in the latter half of the track could be a tad too ear-piercing at times. I understand it's role in the story, but it made the song less fun to listen to for me personally as it was more distracting than engaging. It was better in the part with the heavy low section since it felt more balanced.

This track is so beautiful and is full of emotion. Good job.

This one told me like 6 different stories, and each one was amazing. I would like all these movements to be either developed as single tracks, or if you prefer to have them as a single work, splitted by more notable quieter compasses. Nice work!
