Congrats on your first jam!

I liked some of the dissonant sounds used in prologue to hint at underlying danger. It was maybe a tad too long for my tastes but it was still fine. Sometimes the dissonance felt unintentional however. That made some songs not quite as enjoyable during certain sections. Tell me if I'm wrong though since intentional dissonance is cool.

I also like that I could clearly hear a motif throughout the songs.

Stage 1 I was reminded of A hat in time at some parts, specifically the song "No more mafia boss".

I was a big fan of the bass you used in Stage 2. It reminded me of like old PC games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like some of the songs repeat a full time or at least come close to an exact repeat before looping at the end. Because of that, the songs feel too long. In the future, I think a good idea would be to only start a loop to show how it loops before fading, and if the loop is actually changing something and is subtle but important, point it out in the text so people know to listen for those changes.

The melody in Stagefin was really good and was by far my favorite song in the OST. It changed frequently so I didn't get bored and had some crunchy chords. It had some parts that were dying for different notes though. Just from listening to it once, there were a bunch of sections that I would have composed differently, but that's the beauty of OST jams. This isn't my song so I get to hear a different interpretation. Stagefin had the most parts I thought could use fixing in notation and mixing, yet despite that, it was my favorite because of how unique it was and how I assume it pushed you to try something new.

Great entry. You have a lot of promise! Keep making music because I'm sure you will improve quickly!

Thanks (^^;

I try to make sure the dissonance I use is intentional, but it can sometimes slip my mind while arranging my tracks. STAGEFIN was actually closer to my typical style than the rest of the soundtrack, much of the difficulty here that had me leave my comfort zone was coming up with a usable motif that's recognizable and versatile.

Also I wasn't quite sure how to do looped tracks in the submission so I played it safe by having it loop once before fading out, which I understand can become a bit boring. Knowing this now, I think I will start fading it out after the loop point instead of making it repeat oncee before fading out.
