Really good game. I loved all of the interaction throughout the game with all the puzzles and the visuals were great too. The only problem I had with the game was I couldn't get the elevator to open, or even skip with the backslash, but besides that, it was really good. Nice job hackclubber

Yeah , we should have been a little clearer on the elevator puzzle (there have been some issues)
You have to skip it press backslash while in the code terminal,then it should close after a few seconds. You then have to walk up to the elevatr and the doors should open when u get close enough.
The puzzle s meant to be interpreted as this:
1: 1
2: 5
3: 9
4: 0
5: 5
6: 8
so the code is : 159058
The clean 3D art style, minimal textures, and player shadow effects create such a sleek, immersive environment! The puzzle designs are really engaging and show a lot of potential for a full game.
A couple of bug fixes and polish ideas for your post-jam updates:
- Elevator Interaction: Add a clear visual/prompt feedback when the elevator unlocks (or widen the proximity trigger) so players know to walk right up to the door.
- Debug Commands: Remember to remove or hide the backslash puzzle-skip key meant for dev testing!
- Black Screen Build Fixes: Glad to see you already resolved the initial boot black-screen issue and uploaded cross-platform builds.

Star Cubeheyy i played your game and it is absolutely stunning! i love the simple textures and the shadow of the player. yet i got a bit stuck at the level with the elevator. i typed in the correct password and it said that the elevator has been unlocked but the door remained closed so i didn't know how to continue. overall it looks very good and definitely has some real potential! check out my game if you're interested :) https://tsarahq.itch.io/the-village-mystery-for-game-jam
