If you know, then why are you still doing this? You already know that self-promoting your game on random itch.io page is a bad start, right? What you're doing is spam, and if you keep this up, you're only putting yourself at risk until you end up getting banned.

It should matter. I saw your comments on other people's games in the comments. Like I said, going around pages and commenting on them, begging people to play your game, is already going to give people a bad first impression on you. It's rude, and it's spamful. That it something that a game developer shouldn't do when promoting their game. If you're trying to showcase your game, you should be doing it on social media to gain more attraction, like on Twitter. Not just YouTube alone. If you want people to play you game, they should be going to you, not the other way around. I am trying to give you advice so that you can improve yourself in the near future.
