Really cool concept but the controls are an absolute nightmare. Especially when it comes to jumping out of the water. I get that its trying to be challenging but it's a bit much especially while being chased by something. I eventually got it. But I felt more frustrated than I did scared. Maybe some people enjoy that sort of challenge more, but the game would benefit from some accessibility options. The animations for the crawling definitely could use some polishing. The arms glitch a lot and move in ways they shouldnt (despite not being surgically altered) during the crawling. just make your character face different directions. I'd also like to see better keyboard controls, I know the game was not developed for it but i do feel like I'd have had a better time. Regaurdless of all that the game is gorgeous and Im very interested in the story.
specifically its very hard to look around to see where im going while running away from something. Because my right thumb already has to be on the A button. and using both joysticks, r2, AND the a button is not very doable. And I either have to slow down to adjust the camera and possibly die or I have to hope Im not going to run into a wall. It would probably be easier to sprint while looking around with keyboard and mouse. At the very least the camera should face towards where my character is facing most of the time, but still allow moving the camera to look around manually when necessary. That would make the game significantly more enjoyable.
