the guide for dummies is broken. i did the confidence lv1,lv2 did the int lv1 and str lv1, but str says it isnt finished. above str is again confidence lv 1 and i already completed ferrews island quest but it shows it isnt complete in guide dummies. brenda's route when you go to her aparment for the first time it says that everything is finished for that update but the route still says to go to her apartment and doesnt show it as complete. also nancy's new task in quest doesnt show up. gonna see if i have to meet her or something for it to update.
What you mentioned about the beginner's guide, the strength, intelligence, and confidence levels, and the Ferrews Island tasks is true. However, these are errors that don't affect gameplay, so don't worry about them.
