[SURVEY] Solo / indie game devs: how do you handle assets you can’t make yourself?

Hi! I’m doing a short survey about how solo and indie game developers deal with art/assets during development, and whether local generative tools could actually be useful in that workflow.

I’m especially interested in hearing from solo devs, students, small teams, and game-jam participants, including people who don’t use or don’t want to use AI tools.

The survey takes about 4 minutes:

I’m mainly trying to understand real pain points before building anything, so honest feedback is very welcome.

If you don’t feel like filling out the survey, I’d also be happy to hear in this thread how you usually handle assets you can’t create yourself.

Thanks!

Of course, it's about paying someone to handle it

I just use open source assets. There are plenty of good sources, and generous artists.
