It only happened to me a couple of times: once as part of a jam coverage, where my game happened to be first in rotation, and was pretty well received for what it was; the other time, as a random find by a YouTuber who didn’t understand a thing, and when pressed all but admitted not reading the 150 words of instructions below the game window before playing.

So it can be a mixed experience, but overall? It’s free publicity either way! Not going to complain.
