I am working on the game Dungeon Janitor.

So far, I was managing the visuals, logic and sounds myself. But I feel my art is not really that good. Altho my logic and code are. So, I am searching for a 2d pixel artist who would like to work on this game together to make it further enjoyable.

I have attached a screenshot so that you know what kind of art I need.

Note - This is unpaid, done for love of the jam/portfolio building — you'd get full credit on the game page and itch listing.

Hey, friend. So this is awkward, but games made prior to the jam start date will be disqualified. Please see the FAQ on the front page under "What can I work on before the jam?"

You are allowed to set up your tools and your game engine. Tools include: palettes, fonts, tracker instruments and code libraries. Anything that is specific to a particular idea should wait until the jam starts.

also there is a theme that you need to incorporate into your game for the jam:

Theme
The themes are “GameBoy” and a second theme which will be announced on the first day of the jam.

games are rated in several categories, including the second theme:

Secondary Theme Interpretation
Does the game include the Secondary Theme well? Is it particularly original, true or inventive with the restriction?

its fine it was my first game and i enjoyed the process, i still have to work on it, anyways is it a decent game

it looks cool! glad you enjoyed making it. the jam starts in about a day if you want to make another game. there are still some folks looking for teammates too if you want to try working with others. then someone else can make the pixel art and music so you don’t have to.

ALSO the use of assets is not allowed

Making Things
All music, code and assets (except font) must be created by you and your team during the jam period. You may use a pre-existing font.
