Overall a really cute and fun little puzzle game.
What it might need is some reminders of the scents somewhere maybe? Maybe even the selection outlines could be the scent colors or some other character visuals to remind the player, since these played a huge role as well in some case. I opened up a new window on another monitor, so I could check from there when the foods weren't the usual suspects.

You’re absolutely right about the scent reminders. We definitely want to make that information easier to check in the full version, so players don’t have to memorize everything (or open another window on a second monitor XD). Using the selection outlines or other character visuals as reminders is a really interesting idea too!
