Hi everyone!

I’m one of the developers behind Rolld Virtual Dice, a free mobile dice roller made for tabletop RPGs and dice-based board games. We just published the project on itch.io and wanted to share it with this community: https://drakkarti.itch.io/rolld-virtual-dice

Rolld began as a “I forgot my dice” fix and grew into a flexible, community-driven tool that fits nearly any dice-based system. It’s fast, reliable, and designed to handle everything from a single d20 to massive pools for rules-heavy games, all with an emphasis on speed, clarity, and fairness at the table.

Perfect for game night, ideal for players and Game Masters (GMs) alike, Rolld fits virtually any tabletop system and is widely used by Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu and board game communities. Currently the app fits perfectly with virtually any TTRPG system or board game that requires dice.

With Rolld you can:

  • Roll classic and custom dice: d2, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100 or any custom-sided die (e.g., d75).
  • Handle massive pools: unlimited rolls; large pools like 50d6 or 20d100 are seamless.
  • Share results: send roll results to other players.
  • Modifiers & history: modifiers from -99 to +99 and per-die roll history for full transparency.
  • Offline & low battery usage: ideal for long sessions and play locations without internet.
  • Localized: 8 languages: EN, PT, ES, FR, DE, IT, RU, ID.

Gameplay is completely FREE. There is an optional one-time purchase to remove ads, under $3.

We just released a major update that unifies features across iOS and Android, improves battery consumption, and expands compatibility across 13k of devices.

In some board games, especially when there are many dice involved or when a specific die is missing, the app works really well. The custom dice feature is interesting because it does not limit you to only the most common dice.

I also liked that the app works as a support tool, not necessarily as a replacement for physical dice. For me, it fits really well when the game needs more speed or when someone forgets a component.

With a single, very affordable purchase, you can remove the ads. I really liked it.

Congratulations!

That's awesome to hear, thanks for the feedback! It's great to know Rolld is doing exactly what it was designed for: being that reliable sidekick at the table, especially when someone forgets their dice or when the game calls for a level of speed that physical dice can't always provide.

Versatility has always been our goal. You can roll up to 100 dice at once and create virtually any custom die you need (like a d37). It was built to be the tool that has your back, whether you're playing a TTRPG or a classic board game... There's also an option to remove ads with a small one-time purchase (around $3), which helps us keep the project alive and accessible to everyone.

Feel free to check out the latest features and updates on our official website at rolldvirtualdice.com, there´s always something new in the works. Thanks again, and happy rolling =)

Pretty practical tool, used it alongside my notes on our last session and it already helped a lot. would be cool to see simple character profiles to separate rolls for different characters, plus some basic filtering in the roll history after a long campaign....

Hey Tom, thanks for your feedback!

Really glad it's already helping out alongside your notes, that's exactly what we want it to do, =)

Character profiles to separate rolls and some filtering in the roll history are interesting  suggestions, especially for longer campaigns. Thanks for sharing this, we'll pass it along to our development team.

We're constantly working to improve the app, so any other suggestions are always welcome!

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m Teddy, but people call me Dreel, and I’m also part of the team behind Drakkarti, an independent studio from Brazil developing RollD.

I just wanted to stop by, say hello, and thank everyone who has been checking out RollD and sharing feedback!

We’ve recently released another update, adding support for 18 languages, along with several other improvements and new features inspired by feedback from the community.

One of the things we really value is hearing how people actually use the app in their games, so if you have any suggestions, feature requests, or ideas for improvements, they’re always very welcome. We’re constantly looking for ways to make RollD more useful for both TTRPG and board game players.

Thanks for giving RollD a try, and happy rolling! 🎲
