Interesting use case! I’m also developing a dice roller, although mine is focused more on mobile/tabletop use. Custom dice were one of the features I really wanted to support because different RPG systems can get pretty creative with their mechanics.

I’ve been working on a free mobile dice roller myself, and it’s really interesting to see how different RPG systems handle dice notation and custom rolls. I actually added custom dice to my app for this exact reason. It’s called Rolld Virtual Dice, if anyone is interested in checking it out.

I love seeing games that can be played with just a couple of dice! For anyone who happens to forget their physical dice, I actually developed a free mobile dice roller called Rolld Virtual Dice. It supports D12 and custom dice as well. :)

I can definitely relate to this! I actually ran into a similar situation and ended up developing a free mobile dice roller for Android and iOS called Rolld Virtual Dice.
It’s mainly meant for situations where you don’t have your physical dice around, or simply don’t have enough space for them. It also supports custom dice and multiple rolls.
I’m not trying to replace tools like Discord dice rollers... it’s more of a mobile companion for tabletop sessions. If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to share it!

We’ve recently released another update, adding support for 18 languages, along with several other improvements and new features inspired by feedback from the community.

One of the things we really value is hearing how people actually use the app in their games, so if you have any suggestions, feature requests, or ideas for improvements, they’re always very welcome. We’re constantly looking for ways to make RollD more useful for both TTRPG and board game players.
