I live in a small apartment, and when I run TTRPGs online (usually for the Eternal TTRPG Jam's Discord,, where I run at least 1 game every month), it's at my kitchen table. Said table is also small, and very crowded, so there's not comfortable room for physical dice-rolling to occur. I was using Google/Bing's "roll a die" tool for a bit, but then I saw I'd gotten Sophie's Dice in a bundle, and I decided to try it out.
It's awesome! It makes rolling have a much better feel, more tactile, which makes me feel more involved in the act of rolling itself. I love how much I can customize my dice (the variety is INSANE btw), and therefore make dice for different needs, such as making a d3 for Bring It Down, or for drawing playing cards for Ritual Among The Stars (I customized a d12 [card number] & d4 [card suit] for that). The history feature is fantastic--I don't need it often, but when I do, I'm so glad I have it! The dice the game comes with in the initial dice bag is INSANE, love how you can roll for your D&D race, class, and alignment! Wish I'd realized it already had card dice sooner, but oh well!
tl;dr: I love it, it's perfect for my needs as a GM, and now I can't live without it lol.
