Hey! I’d love to apply for the QA Tester / Playtester position. 😊
I have professional experience in gameplay testing and structured Gameplay Experience QA, including RPGs, narrative games, horror, simulation and other indie projects. I’m comfortable with both exploratory and structured testing, and I pay particular attention to bugs, soft-locks, confusing behaviour and anything that can disrupt the intended player experience.
I also work in Castilian Spanish LQA, so I have experience reviewing localization in context, including terminology, consistency, grammar, UI readability and localization-related issues.

One example of a bug I found was a tutorial soft-lock where, after selecting a Hero ability, the ability-selection interface remained open with no apparent way to close it. This prevented the player from completing the next mandatory tutorial step and effectively blocked progression. I identified that the issue was with the tutorial/UI state rather than simply misunderstanding the instructions, and I would report it with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behaviour and its impact on the player experience.
I’m comfortable with repetitive and exploratory testing, and I’m detail-oriented when documenting issues. I can reliably commit around 7–13 hours per week, with some flexibility depending on the project.
My desired rate would be $15/hour.
I’m also comfortable working with mature / age-restricted fictional content as described in the post.
Thanks for considering my application!
