Taking a break perhaps?

I made games because i want to. As a hobby, I have ideas i want to see materialized. If somebody else likes them, cool. But I try to keep a mindset of 'making the stuff *I* want to see.' I helps  to maintain the motivation and enjoy the game-creation process since it can become a heavy burden sometimes.

In my case the loop is more than. Having a game idea -> making -> publish -> rest  -> repeat.

Don't burn yourself, have a little vacation if you need to.

oh yeah about that, i didnt make a game for that, i made a book, or books, then a webtoon and here i am now. its just i want to expand it and motivation via getting big is stronger than "why not"

Yeah, the motivation you  may have for your games is perfectly valid. I was just telling what i do.

It's okay if you have a story, lore, fictional universe, etc that  you wanna develop and evolve and make it bigger as you say.

I was just telling that i do after ending a project is rest a bit. A week, two or a month (depending how i feel). Brain is like a muscle, you don't want to make it 'weak'  or 'sore' (like mine XD) but if you keep doing effort it may broke.

The feeling of wanting things bigger, famous, polished, etc is a trap sometimes. Rest is also part of the developing process. It's a time where the brain recovers and you can use to... idk, watch a movie, read a comic, make a trip, etc. Things that may give you ideas for your main project and making it grow.

oh about that, i tried forcing myself to rest and etc and i was defeated. since i dont use that much brainpower over thinking, i just- do. oh also ideas, i just get a spark of idea at a random time and then cant rest. i understand where your coming from tho, so uhh thanks for the advice. im young and full of energy now yes but as i will get old ill need rest and if this becomes a habit ill be slicing years off my life
