I like the minimalistic take on the 1st track! I can see this working well with sound effects and diegetic sounds. The pentatonic harmony is a classic, and it works well with the vibe you are going for. The aggressive string bass/cello sliding in the 2nd track is pretty awesome. The way it layers with the hi-hat drums and electric guitar background perfectly illustrates the feeling of danger. I think you could have had more moving harmonic lines in the 1st track to bring more energy to the main theme. Other than that, solid job!
