I was wondering - I am not an english native speaker, is there any saying or phrase with meaning attached to this? My search only turned up a color definition, which is nonsensical as theme to me.
“Old Gold” would mean something aged, or long forgotten, or ancient, anything like that. The “gold” could be literal gold, or something cherished or loved, or anything particularly or personally valuable. There isn’t really an English phrase about it that I’m aware of. (I’m American for reference.)
