Thanks for the detailed report! I’m honestly stumped as to what might be causing the issue but I’ll do a fresh test myself tonight, including trying the game in Firefox.

If you’ve been using Firefox to run the game’s index.html and playing that way, try to play with the built-in browser by launching the game .exe instead, but I doubt there’s any simple way to pull your save file over if you did that. Unfortunately that’s the best solution I can offer until I pinpoint the issue.

Uhm... something strange happened.
I deleted everything about the game on my computer and downloaded it again and now I was able to play until the end without any problems.
I have no idea why, it just worked.

Glad you were able to get it working, even if there’s no real reason why it should or shouldn’t. RPG Maker is basically a bundle of aging Javascript held together with duct tape and prayers, and adding plugins just makes it even more unpredictable, so there are always going to be edge cases or system setups where things don’t always work as intended even if the code I can control looks right.

Sorry for worrying you.
I hope you will keep working on the game after the Jam.
