Amazing as always.
Quick question: What does the Galaga tractor beam do in this game? It's not clear to me. I only play single-player, though, perhaps it's a co-op only thing.

Aha! I probably should have noticed that.
After having lots more fun with the game, I noticed that ultimately it felt like I was playing Pac-Man just to get ammo to use in the Galaga game, since the Galaga level is waaaaay faster and easier to clear than the giant Pac-Man maze.
I am curious if this was your intent, or if you consider that a balance problem to be tweaked.
(Or if I'm just playing it wrong, which is also quite possible.)
