sorry, i think the mobile version is a bit bugged. I cant complete compliance route or complete neighbours quest cuz the bookshelf keeps coming back. Like, once i leave neighbours house, it comes back, and theres no option to push or pull it this time. I'm not sure why it happens? Maybe the game forgets rhat it was already moved or something idk. Anyway, ive yet to play mercy route, but so far it's really interesting (and rightfully unsettling sometimes haha). Man I can't decide whether or not to like Austin...
thank you for letting me know. Theres a plugin i used that saves moved item locations, but it doesn’t work on mobile devices. I thought i was able to get around this by moving the object to a different location every time the map loads, but evidently that check is not working. I’ll dig further to see if I can get that object moved properly, but otherwise I will have to change the plugin which will break everyone’s current saves which I am trying to avoid doing. I appreciate you being interested in other routes despite the bug as it only impacts compliance route!
Okay welp I think I can do compliance route, because of the fact that stranger will knock the shelf down himself if I don't do it (it comes back if I ever enter though, but the one entry should be enough for Compliance, I think. I don't see why Austin and Riley would go in twice, maybe to grab some sauce idk.) Anyway yeah that can be a temporary work around to... not kill everyone's save files haha- only stranger's quest will be locked out.
Anyway, now that I'm done with that, the game genuinely has really great vibes. I don't know, something about it feels realistic enough despite it being... not really, with the parasite thing going on. I miss Austin and Riley being friends tho😭 (though imo mercy ending is still the best.) anyway i guess that's what TCOI memories is for! ^w^
Also playing through Memories, does Herb happen to be Stranger? Or am I delusional?
