I'm not sure what part of this game made you think it was in any way a copy of Shybox's. The mechanics, style, and direction are completely different in almost every way.
The thing you are complaining about is the part that most people like the game for. If you feel like the need to get every image, but don't want to put the time in to do it, then unfortunately I just do not think this is a game that you will enjoy, and that's fine. I can't expect everyone to like my game :]
But there are a lottttt of phone based game out at the moment, I'm sure there will be 3 or 4 at least that suit your taste better than this one :)
