Regarding your questions:
Yes, all future updates are free and will remain free for customers who purchase either the Full or Builder version. There is no need to pay again for future updates.
Regarding the Windows compilation and controller issues, could you please upgrade to the latest version and try again? v7 versions contain several bug fixes related to these areas.
If you still experience any issues after updating, I’d be very happy to investigate further. Could you please share a few more details about your configuration?
In particular, for the controller issue:
- Are you using a 3-button or 6-button controller?
- Which EverDrive model and console/revision are you testing with?
For the Windows compilation issue, any additional information about your Windows version and error message would also be very helpful.
