Wow, amazing job Jofes! You’ve gotten even better since the last jam! Your music has always had this infectious energy that made it super fun to listen to, but now you’ve added so many flourishes and elegant interplay between the instruments that elevates it even further! Some of the stuff you did in your music actually reminds me a bit of Selkione, which is really great. I also really appreciate the story you came with, and the way you incorporated the instruments and characters so thoroughly into your soundtrack was inspired. There is a one small thing I did notice though, where because you utilized the same core instruments throughout the soundtrack, many of the tracks tended to have a similar timbre. Maybe you could try using tracks like Take Stock to introduce completely different instruments to provide a bit of fresh air to your listener’s ears? Again though, fantastic job, I loved listening to this soundtrack! Can’t wait to hear what you come up with next!

Thank you so much Bodo!
I still have the first song of yours I ever heard on my playlist from Redlines composing challenge.
I think you're probably right about the timbre. Before I started composing anything, I got all of my instruments set up to use for the entire OST. The only instrument I ended up adding was the xylophone after about half of the songs because I really wanted another instrument that wasn't breath based (winds or horns). I did that so I could make sure the OST stayed consistent whilst also giving me room to mix and match things. Like the piccolo, harpsichord, oboe, pan flute, and others only play for some and not all of the songs. That was my attempt to keep things fresh. Though I still used many instruments in every song such as the Celtic harp which I'm fairly certain was in every track.
I would have loved to put more instruments in, but to be honest I couldn't think of that many more that I not only had easy access to, but didn't overlap too much with what I already had.
Perhaps I should have changed the mixing on some to keep it more fresh. I debated making Take stock much drier in the mix to simulate being in a small building, but it seemed to different from the rest and I thought it might sound like a mistake.
