How have you integrated the theme "Freedom but at what cost" in your game?
The game explores the idea that ignorance can feel like freedom. By choosing not to see, hear, or speak about the evil around you, you can avoid responsibility and live peacefully - but that freedom comes at the cost of ignoring reality and its consequences
Where and which 3 colors have you used?
I used red (#9C2114) as an accent color to catch the player's attention. Dark green (#071907) and light beige (#F8F0AD) support the Japanese narrative while creating more unsettling atmosphere
The unsettling atmosphere created by the color and music is perfect and helps drives home the core philosophy of the game.
I love the cultural component to this - it really makes it feel authentic. The story is simple but effective. Nice work!
It's minimal, effective, visceral and engaging. I like that the game outright asks you to see, hear, speak no evil when it's happening.
The visuals are great and the color palette and coloring choices are right on point.
FYI, you have some antialiasing in the textures and some fades in the intro that break the 3 color rule.
Please… Add checkpoints… Don’t send me back to the beginning… I just didn’t know what to do with that third corpse.
