Thank for sharing your imagery while listening. I listened to my track as I read along to your description and it was very cool to experience your point of view. Especially the bit about "quiet local shops that stand in peaceful overgrowth now, where there are only memories of past lives bustling here".
That was definitely a concept that came up often as I was writing, the contrast between the hopeful adventure of those who left behind the great city, the slow demise of the city because it grew too big to care for its inhabitants. and, ages later, how the city became a remnant joining the cycle of birth and rebirth.
