Haha I haven't seen that one before, I'll see if I can fix it :P
I was using an autoclicker and moving my mouse up and down, after a bit a 4th upgrade slot unlocked and then more. a bit later some of them started getting replaced with <null>
Thank you for the info, it was really helpful in tracking this down! This should now be fixed in the current update.
