Everyone should check out this very cool thing my friend made!!! The contrast between the formal chronicling of Georgia's activism and the letters to her brimming with pain was just engrossing. If you sacrifice both your identity and abandon the people who supported you in finding it, can you truly reclaim it? For such a short VN, it has a lot to say about the American condition as well. Intentionally or no, we often celebrate those who are the most opportunist among us. We value change on a grand, national scale rather than stopping to help those in our own neighborhoods. The things that should feel like victories in our country often ring hollow.
