This was a fun game, with some really interesting mechanics!  I love that the initial barrier of entry seems pretty low, and then the game expands on the concept nicely.

  1. The options screen could use some extra work to be more responsive to the game state.  From the main menu outside a run, having run tabs available may confuse the player.  Also, opening the from in the game returns to the last tab selected, which may not the be list of possible hands as directed by the tutorial.
  2. There's some odd artifacts in the tutorial text.  On the Launch tutorial it doesn't seem like the text fully finishes its animation
  3. Hot dice isn't explained in the the tutorial
  4. Consumables aren't explained with the tutorial, starting with a standard additional die would help explain the point.
  5. It's a little unclear as to when the Mult triggers or possibly how it grows

The VOD of the review is linked below and will be available for 60 days from the date of broadcast:

Dice number go up game? Yes please!

Watching the dice go around the spinner is a nice touch! And I really like the fantasy you have built around powering your ship.

Little picky things:

  • The submit "hand" (for a lack of a better word) tick button feels like it is on the wrong side, though this might be a deliberate decision due to the launch button?
  • Screen shake is pretty crazy on launching gave me the impression something went wrong since the environment stays pretty still otherwise
  • Shop ease in animation is nice, but can it please be a little quicker?

Couple of quick bug reports:

  • Lost my mouse pointer pretty frequently (was able to get it back by tabbing off the window or pressing escape) and wasn't in full screen mode in the web build just in case that is helpful

Will definitely be coming back to give it another a go soon!

Hey thanks for the feedback! I'll look into that issue with losing the mouse pointer.
