How have you integrated the theme "Freedom but at what cost" in your game?
The people of Omelas live freely and happily, but their freedom is built on the sacrifice of one person. Now someone wants to set that person free, but the consequence would be the end of everyone else's freedom
Where and which 3 colors have you used?
We used a bright orange, a dark purple and a dark grey color.

got stuck on the console code puzzle, But the art looks amazing!
great game!
thank youuuu!!!! the code has 4 characters (the first image on the screen implies two)
The music and concept is really cool!
thank you so much!!!!!
i loved the art
Thank youuu!!!!
I like the art and i see jam progress chat also !! i accidently skipped and stuck in game :)
awww thank you so much :3 where did you stuck tho?
The music and art are so cool! The walking animation is really funny and so is the robot dialogue.
I do have some issues with the gameplay tho. In the room with a bunch of different boxes it's kinda hard to understand what you need to grab to open the door, so you just kinda have to run and spam E to find it. The room with the barrier door things is pretty cool, but you can get softlocked if you get squished by the final 2. But yeah, cool game!
thank you!!! yeah we didnt have enough time for the gameplay, will do better next time!!
Cool art!!
Couldn't figure out what the passcode is though ahah
But really cool game!
thank youuu!!! hint: it has 4 characters (letters+numbers)
Art was really nice & crisp for 3 colors: I haven't seen many toon artstyles and this one pulled it off really well. Would have liked a bit more feedback for the gameplay, was hard to tell if i e.g. got keys or used keys etc. Really liked the claw machine to get the keycard, and how you have to shake it to unstick the card lol
thank you so much!!! will do better next time :3 (I like that claw machine too)
i loooove the art style sooooooooooooo much <3
and the music and story and mechanics
aaaaamazing game
:)
thank youuuuuuuuu soooooooooo much!!!!!!! <3<3<3 yayyy
no problem <3
:)
I really like the art, and the music is vibrant! I got stuck on the number puzzle. I would have loved to see some voice acting! Good job!
thank youuu!! good idea I should try voice acting some time :p
Super cool amazing job!
thank youuuuu!!!!
The visuals are amazing and the color palette is very interesting.
Technically the use of anti-aliased images, blur and some alpha effects break the 3 color rule. You could fix that with a dithering shader on top of your canvas.
I ended up in a room with 3 buttons where I guess there was a little square piece that was supposed to fall from the top conveyor belt but it got stuck on the way and I didn’t know how to progress.
I wasnt aware of any color problems... also its supposed to get stuck, you have to press the middle button again to shake it out.
thank you very much!!!!
I didnt use blur, it must be image quality problem TwT
about anti-aliased images, I think the rule shouldnt be soo strict 🥺 I really love to try some non-pixel things
I'm not sure about what do you mean by alpha effects, do you mean change the color of the lines?
and you need to press all the buttons to shake the machine :3
Awesome game! The art is so nice and the music is just on another level. The story is really good, but it ends really quickly… I’d love to see a full version of this!
thank youuu!!! yeah the script was supposed to be muuuuch longer lol but I has been too unproductive, submitted the script very lately so we didnt have enough time to put them all in, will do better next time!!!!!
The art is so gorgeous all the gameplay faults are forgiven. It looks like it is more colors but it isn't. It doesn't even use dithering. No tricks. 3 Colors and nothing else is needed. Story reminded me of The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas but I didn't remember the name. And then I look at the description and that is entirely what it is about. Silly me.
you're silly 🥺
(me actually more silly, didnt know this story before anomalocaris told me)
