Actually the hand-drawn requirement is totally separate from the no AI rule. No AI is there because AI is a blight on the world. The hand-drawn on paper requirement is there because I specifically want people to make analog art for this, no digital art for the maps whatsoever. Engaging with physical mediums is the point there.

Thanks for bringing up the accessiblity issue though. I said paper in the requirements because I figured it's the material that most folks who play and make ttrpgs are likely to have available, but any analog medium will work. If using a different physical surface would avoid triggering sensory issues, go for it. Dry erase board, chalkboard, sidewalk chalk and pavement, canvas, an etch-a-sketch (I'd actually love to see this, seriously), all are good as long as it's analog art that can be scanned or photographed. I'll update the jam to mention that all analog mediums are good.
