Thanks for the feedback and ideas keep them coming! I implemented the "where you can't see through closed doors" feature. The room becomes black. I also added the ability to purchase recon vision, which shows the outline of enemies. right now I am working on the ability system and getting the steam store page up. Hope to do an update to itch this week.
