Use of the limitation
The score represents the distance you travel through the forest. It also acts as your progress toward the cabin, so surviving longer directly pushes you closer to your goal.

The art in this game is so cool!

The visuals are freaking awesome. I'm a big fan of the style. The gameplay is unique, I definitely struggled to place the sounds. But eventually I got the hang of it, I made it to about 100m :)

Great 1-bit art style! Gameplay becomes a little too hard when all of the sounds start too mashing up, but it stil an enjoyable game with interesting concept!

Really cool style! It took me a little while to get what was going on icl but I think it makes sense now. Furthest I managed to get was around 200m I think

I like the style very much! The atmosphere is also good; with clearer mechanics for the fear, it would be excellent!

Developer

Ah! Thank you, Thank you! I'd keep that in mind.

i haven't really understand how the fear affect use, but i run and run !
i like the DA and sound design, good luck!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I think the fear mechanic needed a clearer explanation 😅

The idea is that the creatures try to lure you by mimicking animal sounds. You have to ignore the creature sounds, but real animals also make noises, so you need to check and confirm that it’s actually an animal. If you keep ignoring real animal sounds because you think they’re creatures, your fear builds up until you eventually die of a heart attack.

Glad you liked the da and sound design, and thanks for the feedback!
