Absolutely blown away by the result. Me and my friend entered this jam with the stretch goal of getting top 50 in a category or getting top 100 overall. Amazing experience (with this being my second game jam) and I'm so glad that people really resonated with our core mechanic.

my friend and i were thinking of continuing it and eventually turning it into a steam release -> if any of you guys wanted updates we provided a discord link in the comments of our submission

But just looking at the distribution of scores (especially for gameplay) it was really really tight at the top - like sometimes the difference between places was like 0.01 - meaning the variance would have been crazy for the first 30 or so places -  and yea i completely agree that with more reviews you increase the likelihood of your game getting dragged down.

honestly - ratings are just one component of what makes us make games - and have fun in jams -  played some amazing games in this jam and everyone should be so proud of themselves.

You should be extremely proud! Those are amazing results. I haven’t played your game, but I’m sure it was great :D
