i woud like to make a remake with more factorioesc aspects like the grid for placing building, inserters ecc...

can i do that and link to this game for the textures ??

if i can i can't promise i will pull that off

How fun! Feel free to do that.

The textures are available in the zip file with the game executable. I think the sprites may not be the best suited for a grid, since their sizes aren't clean ratios of each other, so you would probably want to edit them a bit as well.

It would be far down the line, but if you should get around to releasing it, you can link it in a topic here and I can pin it (just don't charge any money for it or anything).

Best of luck either way.

Also fun coincidence, the last few months I myself have actually been working on a factory builder in godot, and I ended up deciding to use a grid this time. I have really changed my mind on the idea of a grid, it's the best invention, and it's really good for literally everything.

Thank you for your support! Like you said, your textures aren't really suited for a grid, so I'll be making my own while taking inspiration from your amazing work. Here is an idea of the art style:

We will watch your career with great interest. Also, a question, do you only want to port the game onto the godot engine as is, aside from the textures, or do you want to add more new stuff?

I am going to make my own game with its own art style, taking inspiration from the amazing work of  kittykiller kuriosity,Factorio, and maybe even Gorge Valley. Think of it as its own thing and not like a remake.
