A good start! I think adding some simple background music would help a lot with the ambience. Godot makes it really simple with the AudioStreamPlayer, and there's tons of free music available at OpenGameArt.org. Keep it up!
I was thinking of adding it but towards the end I was just done with the game and didn't fell like it. Thanks for your support and the site suggestion!
