I kind of agree?, No offence but if an artist uses Ai they should mention it instead of saying its their own creation, People have prefrences and lots of people do not like Ai beause of the errors and its feeding on Artist's own hardwork creations which is annoying and theres other reasons for why its hated :1. I for myself think Ai should be used for more important things and not for art. (Actually people nowdays care MORE about Ai cuz its advanced)
i meant like, using IA for proof-reading, or maybe to help get inspiration for some parts you're stuck in? or for a bad case of writers block?
and fair enough, they should flag if AI was used but then again just seeing that flag will take so many readers away from it for no valid reason, It's dumb, but it is what it is I guess. The art/entertainment world is still adapting to AI , its too new.
Yes in this i agree google doesnt do much help in these things, like for specific words that non-english people know, but for inspiration reading books with the same genre or find ideas from friends or experinced writers is better since ai will not give you detailed ideas or specific ones that you'd like(I have tried that before) , ngl ye you've got a point if ppl knew it contains ai they wouldn't play it but isn't it even worse if they caught an artist using one? They'd cancel the whole thing. also people dont like ai and its valid because the 'art' it makes is DISGUSTING and calling other people's opinions dumb just to say yours as a fact is crazy. whether its knew or not it will be hated
Why is it crazy? My opinion is not a fact, its simply my opinion. I very much think its dumb to reject an entire indie game because its flagged as "AI has been used" when AI is slowly but surely being introduced into every simgle aspect of our lifes whether we like it or not. Many big companies are doing it and making A LOT of money out of it, so why get up on small writer's asses about it?
If its been used, i 100% agree they should flag it and specify it, but I also 100% understand and respect artists that chose not to, specially when their work is still in WIP.
And I think i see what you mean by "disgusting". AI art by itself feels empty, dead. But I do think it can still have its place in art and entertaiment industry somehow, we just have not found the right balance yet so everyone seems a bit lost. Hopefully we can find the right direction. But burying our heads in the ground to it is lowkey dumb, im sorry.
You are right i might have misunderstood that, people avoid it cuz it might have been made based off another game or fed on someone's hardwork which pisses off other artists, I dont mind Ai i just hope they use it for more important stuff or used for assistance rather than feeding it Art. Ngl the only thing i accept Ai being into in Art-realism is for crimes like (Generating the suspect face).
