Very nice! You’ve got a crisp and fun core loop and great graphics. If you keep working on it (i hope you do!), it still needs sound effects, and the transitions are too abrupt. Maybe at the end of each level, a quick fade-out and “yay you made it!”, and maybe show the time to complete?

The art style and the cozy environment sends me back to nostalgia on y8 games. The music selection matches the vibe really well, and my favorite part of this game are the cute hand-drawn assets. It was a fun experience and I wish there were more content to get to know the family better. I think this would go really well if there were some dialogs to the family, other tasks rather than just going up, an audio playback whenever the player jumps, parallax background, and the use of sprite animations rather than just still images. Reading the credits and seeing your appreciation to the people that supported this project is the most uplifting part for me. I cant help but smile to how wholesome this jam entry is.

Wow! This is definitely one of the better ones I've played so far! The gameplay is challenging but varied enough. It could be something good with a bit more variety, particularly in the backgrounds, enemies, and abilities. Good job!
