Thanks for the feedback! Did you use the store to buy upgrades? The progression is exponential with those upgrades.

The gameplay was pretty fun and I liked the level variation for the most part! I think the last level could be a bit more varied - it mostly felt like the first level again. I was jump-scared by the shark, I wasn't expecting any enemies. I already feel a bit uneasy with underwater stuff, the random shark made that feeling worse. I like the effects and the breaching was awesome lol
Pretty good quick game. I did have an issue where the music abruptly cut out a couple of times, and had issues with fish getting stuck on the edges of the screen. It would benefit from some sort of control on the depth speed - perhaps controlling with the arrows - or adding in the ability to purchase upgrades. Good luck!
To be honest, I struggled with this one. The controls were not well explained and the text was too hard to read. I think it would benefit from some sort of tutorial, or even just an explanation in-game on how to actually play. The starting is a bit too hard - I think the progression should have been quite easy for the first run, and then ramp up the difficulty with different enemy types and the ability to upgrade the turrets. Maybe those are in there and I just didn't make it very far - I'm pretty bad at tower defense to be fair.
The hand-drawn art is cute.
I originally rated this all 0 because I was clicking the start button and nothing was happening, so I assumed it was broken. Then I pressed the space bar. I still couldn't figure it out until I read the other comment, then it all made sense. It's really good! I absolutely love the chiptune music and the sfx are great! The 2nd level, with the ... things...? coming towards you is done really well, except that they pretty much never come on the right side of the screen, so you can mostly just stay there and hold space. On the bubble boss level, I got knocked off screen by a pillar, and it glitched the game out, forcing me to restart from the beginning. I wish there was feedback when getting hit in the 2nd level. I also wish there was more!

Actually really good! The gameplay is polished, I love the sound effects. Could use some music, something calming, maybe droning sounds or something to go with the waves. Some fun animations on the garbage or the garbage cans would be awesome too. One final thing, It would be helpful if a custom mouse cursor was used, sometimes my mouse got lost on the screen.
Great job!
Thank-you! I agree with the potential. As it was developing, it was becoming more and more clear to me that it was turning into one of those infinite clicker games (like a cookie clicker), so I tried to pivot and lean on that a bit more towards the end.
If there was one thing you wished it had, what would that be?
Thank you for noticing the UI. My goal was to ensure that the UI was as polished as possible and that everything has a purpose and works. I think the music is OK, but I feel like it does get droning after a while, I would have preferred to make my own, but there was not enough time after I spent 4 days drawing shells lol
